’m Lizaneth Romero-Lecca, founder of ProDesignMatters and Merakih Soul. Born in Peru and raised in the United States, I bring a deep appreciation for culture, creativity, and human connection into my work.
Born in Peru and raised in the United States, my work is deeply shaped by culture, creativity, and human connection. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Technology with a minor in Psychology from George Mason University, which allows me to blend art, design, technology, and human behavior with intention and care.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me creating with my son—building worlds
through imagination and play. I love drawing and painting with ink, paint, and gilding,
traveling to new places, and immersing myself in different cultures and communities.
I’m deeply connected to animals and believe they bring grounding, joy,
and presence into our lives.
With over 25 years of experience across art, web design, product design, UX/UI, and human-centered design—and through roles as an art director and team lead—I’ve learned that technology works best when it supports clarity and trust, not speed or noise. I’ve also seen how essential design is in creating structure, meaning, and coherence.
